I’m looking to see if eventon with action user will work as a basis for a free community events site. My issue is I’m hoping that there’s a way that using the name/email info from an event submission through the front end I can create and assign a user to the event submitted – and in that way populate the site with trusted users who can authenticate and then generate the events for their associations / groups…
In this way I’m hoping to reduce the need for a moderator for all events and leave moderation just for anonymous or unregistered submissions – but would prefer that the process of submitting an event created a user account.

You can use a standalone WordPress plugin to allow people register on your website. Then you can use this option https://tppr.me/KfkfP so only logged-in users will be able to create submissions. Option https://tppr.me/eWoTO will allow users to create their own organizers (which is basically organization https://tppr.me/OnwV0) and locations. At the end you can use Event Manager to allow some users to moderate events https://tppr.me/OnXSj.
How can you set the Event Manager to display all events from all users, or only those not published?
Hello Chris Dawson,
Thank you for your great suggestion, at the moment it is not supported. However please create a new ticket and select Feature Request as category so others can vote on your idea and get it moved into development faster.
OR You can send us a customization job request by creating a new ticket in here and selecting Customization Request as the category.
