Hi, we want to buy the QR Code addon but we’ve got some questions:
We’ve seen that the addon works with app but we check the tickets with a QR code laser gun, so we need to know if we can configure the QR addon on our laser guns in order to make it work, and also we need to know where is the addon connecting on to confirm that the tickets are already used or not

what happens when you laser a qr code? does it beep affirmative or is there a display on the gun
how do you know if the scan is success or failure
Hi, we make events on all the country and we switch our laser gun bar code depending on the location of the event. We haven’t buyed yet the addon of the QR, we need to solved this problems first for know if this is what we need or not.
There’s able to see the admin panel of QR codes before purchasing it?
And, how we sincronize the laser guns for a correct QR read? The guns don’t have app shop for download apps so how they connect through them for know if a QR code is validated yet?

Hello Dani, thank you for your interest in using qr code scan guy with QR Code addon. So when you scan a qr code with a mobile app it send the admin to a checking page where they can login and checkin guests. So you will need to config the scan gun to open a webpage when the qr code is scanned. Are you able to do that with your scan gun? send us a link to the gun you use so we can help better.

generally speaking if you are using the qr code addon then you are also using the tickets or/and rsvp addon (the qr addon doesn’t do anything by itself)
and the events are listed on your site- I am unclear as to why you need to use their gun
so if they give you the gun- why not simply say “no thanks we have it on our phones”
you don’t seem to be using eventon to sell tickets
