ticket addon

Ticket addon looks just what we need. But could you clarify:

1. Customers deal with their own events, emails, etc. Totally self managed by the person selling the tickets
2. Does the money for the tickets go straight to their account, so is it possible to add payment merchants to each event

      Hello,

Users can create events and choose to sell tickets. The problem is WooCommerce still controls checkout, payments and so on. So you need to customize WooCommerce to distribute payments. Please create a customization job request.

Please also note that you try Tickets and Action User add-on together on http://dev.myeventon.com/wp-admin/

      Just to confirm the process

      1. Client adds event
      2. Client chooses tickets
      3. Someone buys a ticket and that money comes to me then I pay the client
      4. The client deals with tickets and communicating with the person who has bought the ticket

      1. & 2. Yes, correct.

      3. Yes, but you need to check how Woo handles this.

      4. Yes, but very limited. Your client won’t be able to remove/refund tickets and they’ll have to communicate manually using only buyer’s email:

I think you can let them use wp-admin > Orders with some restrictions. And the same goes to wp-admin > Events. Maybe with this or similar plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/controlled-admin-access/

1 and 2: ok so ive been watching this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iCk4UKtWPUY

and it seems that events are added via admin, surely they should be added via events manager frontend and variations of the tickets can be added (adult price, child price).

Are all of these options available via events manager for the ticket seller:

      • Email attendee list
      • Email the attendees of an event
      • Download Guest List as CSV file
      • View attendees for each event and checkin attendees
      • Manage ticket capacity for each repeating event instance
      • Show remaining ticket count only when count go below set count
      • Sell tickets individually or multiple quantity
      • Catalog visibility of ticket products option
      • Stop selling tickets a set minutes before the event start
      • Allow only loggedin guests to buy event tickets
      • Open checkout and View cart buttons in new window
      • Show “Event Over” tag on eventtop when the event is past
      • Auto re-stock event tickets when orders are cancelled or refunded
      • Human Validation for inquiries before buy form submissions

      3. ok will look at this

      4. Are ticket sale insignt available from events manager

    • Artem Sep 5,2019 AT 2:40AM - Posted 5 years ago - #137154

You can’t add variations from Submission Form. Please check available options:

      Submission Form:

      Event Manager:

The rest options are available from EventON Settings or Edit Event or WooCommerce > Orders/Products.

      4. Unfortunately, no.

So for variations if I setup those variations and added them to be visible during event submission that would work

    • Artem Sep 6,2019 AT 3:36AM - Posted 5 years ago - #137290

If you’ll add variations from wp-admin then they’ll be visible on Event Card. Unfortunately, users won’t be able to configure them from Event Manager.

    • cheryl evans Sep 6,2019 AT 6:18AM - Posted 5 years ago - #137330

But they will be able to see them when submitting an event

    • Artem Sep 6,2019 AT 11:54AM - Posted 5 years ago - #137353

Unfortunately, no. Variations aren’t available on Action User – Event Submission Form [add_evo_submission_form]. Or are you referring to wp-admin > Events?

    • cheryl evans Sep 6,2019 AT 12:21PM - Posted 5 years ago - #137371

      Im still confused.

A user adds an event, chooses to add tickets but can only enter one price, so they can only add an adult price, i would physical have to go into admin and add the child price.

Is there a way I can try the plugin and get refund if it does not work for us please

    • Artem Sep 6,2019 AT 12:29PM - Posted 5 years ago - #137376

Users add an event with enabled Event Tickets. They can’t add any type of price since Variations isn’t available in Action User – Event Submission Form. They can only add Ticket Price.

      Please try everything on http://dev.myeventon.com/wp-admin/

Ok so i have to buy this https://www.myeventon.com/addons/ticket-variations-options/which will allow my customers to add their events (from front end) with the option to add prices and variations whilst submitting an event.

Then this plugin will allow people to buy the tickets https://www.myeventon.com/addons/event-tickets/

    • Artem Sep 7,2019 AT 10:45AM - Posted 5 years ago - #137497

      …(from front end)…

No. This add-on doesn’t work from front-end https://www.myeventon.com/addons/ticket-variations-options/. You can only add variations from wp-admin > Edit Event > Tickets.

    • Artem Sep 7,2019 AT 10:45AM - Posted 5 years ago - #137499

Then this plugin will allow people to buy the tickets https://www.myeventon.com/addons/event-tickets/

This add-on allows you to add tickets from front-end but with limited options.
