I am using the ICS importer and have several events that are past that get published upon import. I have the “Auto move events to trash when the event date is past” switched on, but the past events are not being deleted.

Please send us FTP access to your site as a private message. I am going to assign this ticket to Ashan and he will be able to take it from here and find you a solution. Please allow some time for him to get back to you, we greatly appreciate your patience and thank you for being a eventon customer! Also please disable any IP blocking on your site if there are any.
If the event is repeat event, yearlong or month long at the moment those do not get moved to trash. We are going to move this action into the cron in the future versions to improve trashing in a more auto level.
So not much I can do about it now. I will need to wait for it to be fixed in a newer version?
Yes unfortunately, perhaps for now – Hide past events which does work and then once we get it sorted out and work in the cron jobs which will work more accurately- it would use wordpress cron jobs but there will be ways to make it normal cron jobs (depends on your server)
Sorry ryan, also wanted to correct myself that in the latest eventON version it is indeed set up to run on cron to delete past events daily.
Ive mentioned 3 types of events that are not moved to trash, so which type of events do you have?
Wow, just realised that this was never working, hope this gets sorted soon.
What i find is that an event gets trashed on an enddate, but it does not get trashed after a repeat event has reached its counted repeats.
Yes repeating events are not included in the trashing portion and we will be adding that in the future.
