I suspect that the EventOn suite of plugins is causing a conflict with the Flamingo plugin. https://wordpress.org/plugins/flamingo/
This plugin’s function is to record all messages coming in through Contact Form 7. It’s a very handy plugin, and I use it on several sites. However, when I try to open a message collected from this plugin, I receive the following error:
Cannot load flamingo_inbound.
After doing some initial testing (turning off/on plugins and themes) I believe there is a conflict with the Flamingo plugin and the EventOn suite of plugins.
Of course, when I contacted Flamingo, the Flamingo support says “go ask the other plugin team for support.” I’m hoping you’re not going to provide a similar answer.
Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.
Aug 12,2019 AT 9:51AM - 4 years ago -Hello,
It seems that Flamingo has the same issue with a lot of plugins:
Please follow the instructions in this documentation to activate debug in your site to see any PHP errors recorded that can provide insight on to whats going on. Please reply with a link to debug.log file. If you are not able to do this please send us FTP access to your site so we can do this for you.
Yes, I’ve seen that Flamingo seems to have a lot of conflicts. No general resolution though, so I wasn’t sure if those were resolved, or just suspicions. I do have a support ticket on the WordPress.org thread for the plugin requesting help. My suspicion is that, if it indeed does conflict with other plugins, that there may be some common (and easily solvable) issue.
Turning Debug mode on produced the following errors on the front-end and back-end of the site:
Notice: Constant WP_CRON_LOCK_TIMEOUT already defined in /home1/statitle/public_html/wp-config.php on line 91
Notice: Constant AUTOSAVE_INTERVAL already defined in /home1/statitle/public_html/wp-config.php on line 92
Notice: Constant WP_POST_REVISIONS already defined in /home1/statitle/public_html/wp-config.php on line 93
Notice: Constant EMPTY_TRASH_DAYS already defined in /home1/statitle/public_html/wp-config.php on line 94
I commented out these lines in the wp-config file, and the errors went away, but it did not resolve the issue.
I was unable to “link” to the log file directly, so I downloaded it and am sending a link to a text version in a private message. If that’s not sufficient, please let me know and I can send FTP info.
Thank you so much for your help! 🙂

If you need FTP info, please let me know. Thank you!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
Didn’t find any error related to EventON and Flamingo. From this topic https://wordpress.org/support/topic/unable-to-view-inbound-messages/ it seems that “there was a plugin conflict between Flamingo and another plugin that tracks all WP generated emails.”. So basically any plugin that somehow touches emailing will break Flamingo.
I have the same Problem,
yust deactivation EventOn will make Flamingo display the messages.
If EventOn is active: “Cannot load flamingo_inbound.”
Any solution jet?
…. deleting messages too only works with EventOn deactivated, otherwise: “Cannot load flamingo_inbound.”
Jan-Hendrik Wassermann,
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide support for issues caused by their-party themes or plugins. As they are not our products, we are unaware of how they have been programmed or how it is supposed to work. As such, we recommend you to contact the plugin developer and ask them for their assistance in solving the problem. Let us know if you need help with anything else.
Hello. I am also having a problem with this. Specifically, I have found that Contact Form 7’s extension Flamingo does not work when using EventsOn RSVP. If I disable RSVP but use other EventsOn plugins it is fine.
Is there any workaround for this?
