After updating to Eventon 2.8.3, when I click on an event in a list, the details contain all the Visual Composer code of my Jupiter theme

I updated my Eventon Plugin and Add-Ons this week and now when I click on an event in the list it shows in the event details all the Visual Composer Code. I’m using Jupiter theme.

      Hello,

Could you please add cal_init_nonajax=”yes” to the shortcode and check again?

Which shortcode must I add it to?  The theme shortcode?  Please tell me exactly where to go to do this, thanks.

Please don’t follow my suggestion yet since it seems that cal_init_nonajax=”yes” is not compatible with your Event Lists Extended shortcode:

      [add_eventon_el number_of_months=”12″ event_count=”50″ sep_month=”yes” ft_event_priority=”yes” hide_mult_occur=”yes” evc_open=”no” exp_so=”yes” accord=”yes” show_et_ft_img=”yes” hide_empty_months=”yes” cal_init_nonajax=”yes” ]

I am going to assign this ticket to Ashan and he will be able to take it from here and find you a solution. Please allow some time for him to get back to you, we greatly appreciate your patience and thank you for being a eventon customer! Also please disable any IP blocking on your site if there are any.

As a temporary solution please add ux_val=”4″ to the shortcode:

      [add_eventon_el number_of_months=”12″ event_count=”50″ sep_month=”yes” ft_event_priority=”yes” hide_mult_occur=”yes” evc_open=”no” exp_so=”yes” accord=”yes” show_et_ft_img=”yes” hide_empty_months=”yes” ux_val=”4″ ]

      This shortcode:

karen, so what we are finding out is that WP bakery process the shortcodes after it is loaded on to pages. EventON load events via ajax dynamically. Would you mind reaching out to WP bakery and seeing how they proprose to process shortcodes loaded to page via ajax?

The Jupiter theme developer suggested I update to the latest version and installed the Donut plugin, but I’m still getting the shortcodes.    Do you have any other suggestions to fix this please?

Using the temporary fix you gave me, is there any way to get the event to open in a new window instead of leaving the calendar list and opening the single event?  It’s not working well as is.

Hello Karen, how are you doing. so I updated your site with the latest version of event lists ext. site https://karenlucasphoto.com/school/ajde-test/ works fine. Please add the cal_init_nonajax=’yes’ code to mainpage and that will fix the shortcode issue.
