Could you explain the distinction between repeating events vs. multiple occurrences? Within the shortcode, what does “Show all repeating events while hiding multiple occurrences” mean?
I have read the documentation, but using these two options together seems contradictory, and I don’t understand what they’re supposed to be doing.

When you have an event that goes from May to June, EventON shows this event twice in May and June. To avoid this you need to add hide_mult_occur=”yes”. And with repeats it leaves only one repeat in the calendar when this option is enabled.
Do you mean that “multiple occurrences” is a single event that spans multiple days? So something like a 3-day conference might begin in May and end in June, but it’s one single event?
And a “repeating event” is one event that occurs at intervals, like “tutoring every Thursday”?

Yes and yes.

Yes.
Ah, got it! Thanks.
