When sending an RSVP:
– The user does get a confirmation via eMail -> OK
– The RSVP shows up correctly in RSVP attendee List -> OK
– The author does no longer get a “New RSVP” email -> ERROR
– The user does not get the green Successfull Confirmation page -> ERROR
I have this problem on two different WP sites.
Is there any new switch I have misst during the Corona pause ?
I reinstalled Event on already.
Mailsending ist working, RSVP is simply not sending the Mail to the author.
WordPress: 5.5.1
Event ON: 2.9.1
RSVP Events: 2.6.11
Hello Jan,

Hello,
It seems that the problem is in this Fatal Error on your server side:
Unfortunately, I cannot login to your server using FTP access you sent us. Could you check?
I’ve found this error:

So I commented line 28 in /wp-content/plugins/eventon-rsvp/templates/notification_email.php since it’t not important for the user.
Could you check if it helps?

Hello Laura Jolliffe,
Could you go to wp-content/plugins/eventon-rsvp/templates/notification_email.php:28 and comment it?
You can also create a separate ticket with included login info so we can make this change for you.
Where do I find wp-content, and what does it mean to comment it? Sorry, beginner here.
Found notification_email.php, just need to know what to do with it now (comment it)
Figured it out! Working now! Thanks!

Hello,
I am pretty sure, that this workaround will not survive further updates.
So could you please handle this as a bug and fix it upon the next update?
I have two websites with this problem and Laura has one too.
Thanks an greeting, JHWas.
Yes its on the addon to do list (we have a list of issues that are to be added to the new versions)
