Shortcode in the event description and expand

Hi. I would like to add a shortcode in the event description. But it doesn’t interpret it for me and the shortcode appears literally. On the other hand, on the event page, is it possible that the description appears expanded instead of having to click to display all the information?   Hello,
  
  1. Could you try going to EventON > Select calendar event content filter type > try selecting EventON Content Filter or Default WordPress Filter?
  
  2. To expand the description by default please go to EventON > EventCard > enable Show full event description.
