What's the best way to control how the default image displays on the event card?
I set a default image (portrait of a face) for each event. The blocks on the home page (from the codes below) are *perfect* (read: happy client). However, when you click on the card, you get a huge blowup of the face – increased to fit the card.
I know this is a hard problem to solve – but I supposed ideally the photo would be the same size/orientation as the default photo, but with alleys on the left and right side. I suspect this is custom coding… Or are there options for this?

This is a guess (Sorry)
something to try:
but if you use tile_bg_size=”thumb”
then go into (from wordpress) settings>>>>>>media
You can control the size of images
not sure if that will work to be honest- never tried it
probably untick Crop thumbnail to exact dimensions (normally thumbnails are proportional)let us know if that works

the issue is you are using a tiny image for the featured image
https://www.christianscienceillinois.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/fujiko-signs-tiny.jpg
then it has to be stretched out
in myeventon>>>>>settings>>>>event card
at the top are options for that image
pick a larger image, and crop it so you get the size you want
