So you released an update which “fixed” calendar support. But this doesn’t work right! I have an iphone, and when I add an ‘All Day’ event from my website it puts it in my iphone calendar from times 00:00 to 23:59 so it shows the event blocking out that time for the full day instead of just being under all-day event. I need edit the calendar entry and change it to all-day for it to appear correctly in my calendar. Can’t the plugin do all-day without blocking the day out??? I hope that makes sense.
Apr 7,2021 AT 12:59PM - 4 years ago -Thank you for your messages, I am going to assign this ticket to Ashan and he will be able to take it from here and find you a solution. Please allow some time for him to get back to you, we greatly appreciate your patience and thank you for being a eventon customer! Also please disable any IP blocking on your site if there are any.
Ok I would appreciate this is resolved asap. I bought this plugin hoping it would be a quick calendar feature for my site. Firstly, the calendar feature did not work as all, and now, it doesn’t know how to deal with all-day events.
Not really what you want from a plugin that you’ve bought.
Just installed your plugin update and it doesn’t work again, the way it did before 😠
4 days without a response.
We are sorry for the delay. While we are waiting for Ashan to respond, could you tell us about how you add events to you iPhone calendar. By clicking on “CALENDAR” or “GOOGLECAL”?
Calendar. Because the other option is google calendar.
the file that the calendar downloads is corrupt, it says so on windows.
I have submitted a refund request and I hope you will consider it. I don’t plan to use this plugin now as I need something more robust and reliable.
if you can fix issues i will cancel refund request.
if you visit https://streamnotion.com/guide and try to download calendar file, you will see what i mean.
My apologies for the delay in here.
here is the patch fix to resolve this.
That’s ok but can you please explain that screenshot because I don’t get it
Sure thign chris, “$_ending = $EVENT->is_all_day() ? ”: ’00Z’;” this line checks if the event is a all day event it will not add anything at the end of the date-time value otherwise it will add 00Z in which 00 is for seconds and Z represents the time is in UTC offset format.
$_ending variable value is added in start and end time values in below lines.
So am I removing that full bit of code? I need the all day feature to work as previously requested so this won’t take it away, will it?
Please send us FTP access to your site as a private message, so we can apply the patchfix.
I just applied the changes to your site. site seems to be working just fine now.
Nothing is broken. May be you screwed up something when you try to change code 😉 But it is all good now. and the change in this code will be in the next version update to eventON.
BUG. After several issues with the add to calendar feature, you released an update to resolve it. Only now it adds the previous day to the calendar to the day of the event.
3rd major bug since purchasing.
can you provide wp-admin login-
what timezone is your event set to? say this one https://streamnotion.com/events/invincible-season-1/
London. In all events and in the settings for eventon
Hey Chris,
I just tried and I do not see this bug. Have you tried incognito, or cleared your cache?
