Hey folks,
I wanted to embed the event manager (shortcode) in an existing website template, but what I got was this:
https://empowerment.community/event-manager
Yet, I was aiming for something like this:
https://empowerment.community/veranstaltung-erstellen
I am an not using the Short Code Executor, but a regular HTML Container, it will only show me the plugin without anything else from the website…
And… the yellow button in ESE is not responding at all (shortcode creation only possible via settings in backend) – also the EDIT button on the event manager front page is not responding.
Hope you could help…

Thank you for your messages, I am going to assign this ticket to Ashan and he will be able to take it from here and find you a solution. Please allow some time for him to get back to you, we greatly appreciate your patience and thank you for being a eventon customer!
thanks for the follow-up – keep me in the pipeline 🙏
andreas, testing your site.
Your logo image link is broken.
Interestingly adding the event manager shortcode just to the page broke the site on backend. I am not sure what is going on here. Are you able to share FTP access?

Do you know any plugins you are using that try to render a frontend view when editting the page on backend?
Hey Ashan 🙂
FTP access ~ sure we could do that! Is there a tutorial for a step-by-step?
For the logo ~ yes I uploaded another one which still needs to be updated
Could you pls rephrase this? “Do you know any plugins you are using that try to render a frontend view when editing the page on backend?” (didn’t get in clearly)
Hey Andreas,
WHat do u mean a step by step for FTP Access? U want us to tell u how to provide it to us?
Hey Andreas,
This depends on your hosting provider, please speak with them to give u the right way
Hello,
Sorry for the delay. I enabled WP_DEBUG using https://empowerment.community/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wp_file_manager#elf_l1_Lw, so when we finish fixing this please make sure to disable it by following
https://docs.myeventon.com/documentations/how-to-debug-for-php-code-errors/
As for the main issue. I was able to open that page in Editor Mode:
And also the page itself does work as well:
Could you send us a screenshot of the current issue?
Ok I disabled WP_DEBUG. I wrote that to make sure that you know that WP_DEBUG was enabled and is working, if you don’t respond.
We are glad your issue is resolved, if you have any further questions or concerns please create a new ticket.
If you have a moment, we would greatly appreciate if you could kindly leave us a review at codecanyon! from your account > downloads. Cheers!
