I have a speaker set up with a bio etc but when I add the speaker to an event all I can see is the photo and name
I have a bio on the speaker details for Nick Bolton but when I select that as a speaker on an event, the website simply shows the name, photo and job title. How do I get the bio to show? I assumed there would be some kind of button to find out about the speaker but I can’t see anything.

Could you please try the instructions mentioned in this documentation to make sure your issue is indeed coming from eventon.
normally the bio appears when you click the round photo

We are having the eventon addons in the status “Activate Now” but when I go to activate it by giving the licence key and email I get the following message

Ok I activated the eventon speakers addon but I am still not getting the event bio lightbox on the events page

Yes I checked those issues and those are not due to eventon. I fixed some of those but I like you to check why the eventon bio is not working. Nothing comes when we click on the speaker image like in your demo. Screenshot attached

there are loads of errors on the page and loads of warnings to do with facebook pixel
many .js issues which could cause the pop up not to work
are we allowed to temporarily deactivate plugins? (we will turn them off- test things and then turn them back on within a minute or so)

Hi Nick,
It seems that your theme is the issue. When the 2020 theme is activated, the Speakers show the bio just fine on click. Please contact your theme support, they should be able to help.
