Using event type colour

I am trying to use event type colour and have looked at the documentation and followed the instructions to add a shortcode.

This does not seem to have worked and I am not able to see if I have actually created a shortcode.

THIS VIDEO MIGHT MAKE THINGS MORE CONFUSING……..

but from the look of things your event types only one of the event type 1’s has a color so
if you are setting the shortcode to use the event type color overide- there are no colors you have associated with the event types- so it defaults to whatever color you set for the event

Thanks for the video. I understand that only one of the event types has a colour but the reason I logged the call was that after setting a colour for Mortem et Gloriam the colour didn’t change on our events page when viewed on my browser.

I get the same result in both Firefox and Chrome

      Aha, sorted.

We are not using the default layout, I was able to edit the events page and overide colour and all is now good.

      Many thanks
