Importing event data via API

Hi, I list lots of events on my website that link to 3rd party vendors.

These 3rd part vendor have said they can offer an API connection to add the events to my website.

Is it possible import the event data via API? is so can you advise on how to do so?

Many thanks,
Louise

      Hello,

Please take a look at ICS Import add-on:

      https://www.myeventon.com/addons/ics-importer/

You can ask them to export events as .ics file and then use the link to it in the add-on.

      Try on https://dev.myeventon.com/wp-admin/

      Hi, that worked great.

      A couple of questions.

      1. the .ics data has a link included which needs to be added to the ‘learn more link’ is there a way of making sure this imports?
      2. Also the event featured images needs to be imported.

      Many thanks

      Please take a look at

      https://docs.myeventon.com/documentations/add-support-additional-ics-fields/

Variable for Learn More link is evcal_lmlink

For featured image, you should be able to set one with

      https://pexetothemes.com/wordpress-functions/set_post_thumbnail/
