Ticket orders (with seats) paid with Stripe/Apple Pay do not appear as ticket order
I activated ApplePay in Stripe (express checkout) . I booked a seat and paid with ApplePay. All went fine, but the order itself show up in Woocommerce as “non-ticket” order. In EventOn ticket orders it does not appear at all, and the seat is marked again as available.
In the meantime I deactivated ApplePay again, but this is a great payment method and it should work correctly.

the payment has to go through the woocomerce checkout- that triggers the connection to the event- if you do one of those fast speedy pays that bypass the checkout then it wont work

In fact I am using the DIVI WOO Modules for a better design of the Cart and Checkout section. Can that be the root cause, as I never arrive to the section that asks for ticket holders…. Is there anything foreseen with DIVI to make this available ?

Instead of Woo-Checkout elements could you try replacing them with default WooCommerce’s shortcodes:

That’s what I had, but it is ugly and not in line with the Site Layout. That’s why I changed to WOO DIVI elements. Are you in contact with them to improve this? I will most probably then need to switch back to the old “simple” codes.

There is no way of making EventON work with Woo’s divi elements, I am afraid.
Could you let us know if your original issue is gone when you use the default WooCommerce’s shortcode?

Hi, I am now back to the simple 2 Woocommerce shortcodes for Cart and checkout and the issue is persistent. That means that ApplePay cannot be used with Event Tickets / seats. What is not good as I see this an interesting payment method.
In fact if you use ApplePay the billing information are automatically filled what is great.
The payment works, but the order then appears as a Non-Ticket order and the seat is being released after 10 minutes.
For me an issue to be fixed. Actually I deactived ApplePay as payment method again as I had in the very beginning a first payment already with that payment method.

Hi, indeed it now works, but after payment, the system does not show the order page again, but it ends up with “this page does not exist”.

Jean-jacques, wanted to update you we are testing the express checkout process further and so far our test works great.
Also wanted to point out we responded quickly to your past requests and even went above to create custom settings just for your needs 🙂
We will do more tests and then will release a new version with the express checkout functions.

Hi Ashan, Many thanks for that. Try to understand me: if customers face such issues, it gives a bad image on my association, not on you…. Thus it is so important to have everything propperly tested. Don’t forget that after payment with Apple Pay, the system does not come back to the Order summary page. This is as well not working correctly.
