Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

After updating to eventON 5.0 in WP I get Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error. I see in the logs:

PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ')', expecting variable (T_VARIABLE) in /home/www/hp/wp_new/wp-content/plugins/eventON/includes/class-evo-helper.php on line 52

I found a fix (https://helpdesk.ashanjay.com/ticket/bug-with-5-0-version/) and removed comma now I get this error:

PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '=>' (T_DOUBLE_ARROW) in /home/www/hp/wp_new/wp-content/plugins/eventON/includes/admin/settings/class-settings-designer.php on line 264

Please send me fixed version of a code.

Bye, Klemen

      Hello,

What’s PHP version on the server? Could you make sure to upgrade to 8+?

Please also make sure to update to 5.0.3.

      Hi,

PHP is old 7.4. I’ll try to upgrade.

      Thank you.
