In order to not touch the main page (pages -> Homepage) I’ve created this test page with the shortcode suggested by you (here: https://pastebin.com/6RLJaJfP):

As you can see, only the upcoming event of April is shown while the last 3 events dated back in March are not available.
My aim insted is to show the last 4 events (not counting of the past or future months).
Any idea?

I did a backup and installed 4.9.2 and it does not load the weekly view. Than I switched back via backup to 4.9.1 and the weekly view loads but it is still over 100 MB. I changed also to the wp default theme 2025 and it is the same. The list view is ok. I seems to be only a problem with the weekly mode.

I didn’t restore but tried deactivating plugins to test some things.
The eventon slider is working on the main page, but when I try to open the bali-events page it comes up blank. If I deactivate the calendar the slider works on the events page again but obviously not the calendar.
