But there are still draft events showing – example: event ID 3368 should be a draft event but it shows in the feeds above.

If it works when you change the theme, it means the theme is causing the issue.

I figured out how to update the addons. Problem still exists.

I just did the manual update for eventon 2.8.5.

My addons say they need updating so I, of course, pressed update. Twice. They still say they need updating. Help!

I have calendars on a lot of pages. Are you saying to add it to the calendar shortcode on every page? It seems like an issue with the EventOn plugin, not something I should have to add to every calendar.
