Everything IS updated. Here are two screen shots. The first to show the plugins are updated. The second is my view of creating a new event.

Could you please update EventON and add-ons and check? Before update please backup EventON’s data, settings, translations.
Please also send us screenshots if update won’t help.
To update eventon to latest version: If you are unable to do autoupdate, you can go to codecanyon your account > download and get the latest eventon version as zip file. Then you can go to your website, deactivate old eventon, activate (Do not delete eventon settings & data when EventON is uninstalled) from eventon settings, delete old eventon, install new one and activate. This link will further explain the process it. Also you can follow us on twitter to get real-time announcements on updates!
To update eventon addons: You can download latest eventon addons from myeventon > my account. Then you can go to your website, deactivate old addon and install new one and activate then delete the old addon. This link will further explain the process. Please update Tickets add-on. This issue was fixed in 1.7.3 https://docs.myeventon.com/documentations/changelog-event-tickets/ (FIXED: Ticket stock getting reduced twice).

Thank you for the reply, when I delete both lines the text is completely gone, so maybe I have to do something different with the lines?

Actually when changing the section number it does effect seats because seats have section number as part of its structure. Did you notice when the sections disappear?

Paul here is the patch fix for #1.
So basically remove the ,’eventon’ part in there.
The other question is similar to the question you raised in other ticket so lets follow up via other ticket for #2.
