Actually that is a build in filter of wordpress. And that filter shows the dates WHEN the event post was created, it doesnt represent the actual event date.
You can use the above filter which will allow you to see current events vs past events.

Hi, thanks for you answer. I’ve run a few tests with the 1.2.2-version of th EventON Sync Events addon, and you are right in that it does work when the option “Disable existing event namen check” is on, an option that being disabled at default, made the sync suddenly not work since we do have a lot of events with the same name.
As to memory problem, as mentined in the thread, the sync is working on several other sites on the same server.
With this, consider this ticket resolved.
Could you please send us a link to your Public Calendar? Do you have events with the same name? If do please activate Disable existing event name check (version 1.2.2).
Please also follow the instructions in this documentation to activate debug in your site to see any PHP errors recorded that can provide insight on to whats going on. Please reply with a link to debug.log file. If you are not able to do this please send us FTP access to your site so we can do this for you. Maybe there is a memory problem with your server.
If relevant, may I mention that we’re running PHP-version 7.1.23
The database version is MariaDB 10.2.18
I have done extensive testing on several of the domains/sites where we’re using the EventON with sync events.
I’ve found that the extension
| EventON – Sync Events |
Sync facebook and google calendar events |
and version 1.2.1 both work perfectly. The 1.2.2 version does NOT work.
So, in the newests version of EventON – Sync Events 1.2.2, when fetching new events for the first time (in a completely clean install of wordpress and extentions) it only fetches 1 to maximum 17 events of 250 detections in a google calendar.
This bug was not present in EventON – Sync Events 1.2.0 and 1.2.1. If I delete the newst version of EventON Sync Events 1.2.2 and then upload the old version (1.2.0) it fetches all evets: 250. This tells me that the bug was introduces in the version after 1.2.1.
Please recreate and confirm this bug by installing the newest version 1.2.2 and syncing for the first time, and you’ll probably only get a few instead of up to 250 events.
