in your case you will need to go to myeventon>>>>settings>>>>shortcodes

and from there generate the shortcode and copy and paste into your text file

when using events list its best to use the shortcode generator (we should have told you that) using the generator allows you to set the amount of months to use which if you don’t add anything it defaults to 1 month

I have added

number_of_months=”4″

to show the next 4 months

and

hide_empty_months=”yes”

which will hide a month if there are no events in it

I have no problem hiding the past events so I kept that part as “yes” but used add_eventon_list as you specified but there are only 3 events still showing up in http://pixelovedesign.com/clients/radegasthall/events/live-music-events/ (there are 5 saved in the backend now – see attachment). How do I display ALL events excluding the past ones?

And one more questions: is there a way to hide the month heading altogether in that page?

Hi Sunny,

Two of the events were on 28th, so hide_past=”yes” has removed it.

Two events are on next month, and as add_eventon display monthly event calendar, they are not included.

So, you can remove  hide_past=”yes” parameter and use add_eventon_list instead.
