Hi Ashish,
Thanks but I don’t think this is a solution for me. I want to show 2 or 4 similar events underneath the single event, based on the categories of the single event shown. This needs to happen as the page loads not via shortcode that would need to be inserted on every event URL. Please refer to my previous question/reply.
Hi Paul,
If you are trying to show similar events, you can categorize them and list them with event_type=””” parameter.
Please check the link below to learn more about the method:

Hi Artem,
I’d like to revisit this. My theme, Avada – the #1 premium WP theme – supports related posts built in.
How do I serve Events as standard posts so that I can make use of this theme functionality? in other words, how do I get the theme to see events as posts?
Thanks,
Paul
Looking forward to it, this will definitely help in the way of handing early bird specials!
Thanks!
Just a quick follow-up, the latest version Yoast SEO allows the ability to selectively remove the events from the sitemap; it does take some time going through the years, although in the you can keep a current event sitemap. Not certain if other SEO products offer this, although it was nice to see that addition to the product we utilize.
Thanks!
Hey Ashish
Certainly. I’ll do whatever I can to help you guys get this resolved.
Your assessment sounds right.
Here’s the sequence that causes the issue:
Initial import of new event into EventON from Google Calendar seems to work fine. However when we attempt to edit the same event from Google Calendar, and then we attempt to re-import from Google Calendar, the revisions that were made to that same event in Google Calendar do not get imported into EventON.
So it seems any event can be imported into EventON from Google Calendar one time. But then after that, no additional edits or revisions made in Google Calendar will be recognized by EventON for that particular event using future imports. This includes edits to event date, title, description etc. This also includes deleting the event itself.
It seems as if every event, once created in Google Calendar and imported into EventON, is a one way import into EventON and that’s it.
Hope that provides the clarity needed to asses.
I also provided admin access to the site (in previous ticket). I don’t believe anyone has accessed the site yet but it’s available if needed.
Thanks again for your assistance.
Cheers
Ward

I tested it and it works, thanks.
Hi Duncan,
We have added an options panel in settings. You can use it the same way as default rss feed panel.
So, you can create a new slug and the new url will list the feed, like this:
