btw, the code under ‘basic custom usage’ has a typo on line 14.

and the code in the final example throws an error for ‘$p_id’

Instead of $p_id please add Event ID you want to get terms from. Please check https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_get_post_terms
