from the look of things you don’t need to stuff around with functions

looks like you want “Custom Meta Data” which is what we call additional fields like a button or text box or single line of text

remove the stuff from functions.php

go into Myeventon>>>>settings>>>>custom meta data

activate a new one- give it a name and select iether single line of text or multi lines of text (which is a wysywig editor) and save

then in myeventon>>>settings>>>>event card data activate and position it where you want
