Instead of Main Calendar please try Event Lists shortcode:

[add_eventon_list number_of_months="12" ]

But if you also need Filtering/Sorting functionality then please check this add-on: https://www.myeventon.com/addons/event-lists-extended/. You can try it on http://dev.myeventon.com/wp-admin/
