Both the programs you have mentioned are not our and we are not familiar with theme. So, please contact the support team of those plugins and ask them for their assistance with it.

This looks like either the theme you are using or one of the plugin’s styling is overriding eventon’s css.
Please disable all other plugins and change the theme back to default WP theme temporarily and check once.
Let us know if it remains the same even after.

Never mind. I realized I was looking in the wrong place. I found where I needed to download the plugin.

That makes sense but I am not seeing anywhere to download an update. I followed the directions from the WordPress plugin for manually installing the updated version but when I go to my account, there is not an option to download the main plugin. Please see the attached image.

I just logged in and tested and I was able to edit the events without any problem.
Can you try using another browser please? Also, you may need to clear all the caches.

As this is not a default feature, it will require custom coding.
You can send us a customization job request by creating a new ticket in here and selecting Customization Request as the category.
