As for updating eventON to latest version:

To update eventon to latest version: You can go to codecanyon your account > download and get the latest eventon version as zip file. Then you can go to your website, deactivate old eventon, activate (Do not delete eventon settings & data when EventON is uninstalled) from eventon settings, delete old eventon, install new one and activate. The notice on that and also you ahve set it so if a user is not logged into your site the submission form is not showing at all.

And see this, when you are loggedin the name and email values already gets filled in 🙂

So if you select name and email those fields will not show if the user is logged in because then those fields will be filled with saved user values.

As Ashish explained, 1 license = 1 site. (production, live, dead doesnt matter its one site 🙂 ) So what you can do is activate the license on production site and get everything ready and then deactivate when its ready to move to live site. If you want to have both production and live activate you will need a new license. When you deactivate one license, it doesnt completely stop working just few things are not accessible any more. We havent completely blocked things when not activated yet.
