I have temporarily activated the file manager so you can have a look.  I’m sorry I don’t know what is blocking Gutenberg.

Further update (sorry).  I’ve switched to Twenty Twenty-Five theme and disabled every single plugin on the dev instance of my site (except EventOn and Action User) and the same problem persists.  I tried my dev site on WP 6.9.4 and I’ve also updated to WP 7.0 and still the same issue.  Checking Network in Chrome dev tools, I can see admin-ajax.php is called and returns 200 immediately and the modal pops up and disappears immediately.

Are you guys using Avada by any chance?  I tried downgrading to Action User 2.5.12 and the problem persists.  I now suspect it’s an issue with Action User and Avada (currently running v7.15.3) on www.whatsoninfarigdon.com.

We are sorry for the delay. I wasn’t sure how to make the debug.log file to appear.

Are you using Apache server?

Could you also try contacting your hosting provider and ask why debug.log file isn’t appearing?
