This website has been active on the installed theme since 2021 and the documentation you have linked to suggests 1. deactivate all plugins one by one and then 2. to switch to the default wordpress theme. What I don’t understand is how a theme that is active and has been for 3 years, alongside the EventOn plugin, can be the cause of the issue when neither has conflicted previously?

1. Yes, you can disable plugins, as long as you can guarantee to restore their functionality afterwards.
2. Yes, that’s what my ticket is about. It doesn’t log you in as one the “real” WordPress user thing, as you can see in the top right corner of the whole window for example. It only logs you in as a different event manager. So, correct user, wrong event manager.
3. Yes, it is private since I shared our login info.
