As for the main issue, could you send us FTP access or enable WP_DEBUG, so we can check the error and then provide you with a patch.

Please go to EventON > Single > enable Hide event title on single event page.
In order to remove the color from EventTop, please go to EventON > Single > try a different Select eventTop style.
