Thank you!! I didn’t know that there was a problem with the WP files only download, which is exactly what I downloaded. Once I downloaded the ALL files option, I was able to upgrade to 4.6.8.

This was the first time I’ve had any problem updating this plugin. Hopefully, it’s also the last time. 🙂
