Hello Steve, sorry to hear you are having issues with duplicate RSVPs. We test and test before we release the addons, and it is possible we made mistakes because after all we are humans too 🙂
Currently the system will make sure a user with same email can not rsvp twice, with email check. But as dave mentioned it is possible if you are using repeat events and the configuration of it makes users rsvp to same event multiple times. Are these repeating events ?
Let us know little bit more info so we can see what could be causing this.

Many of the transactions have passed at non ticket orders and these orders are tickets but they did not receive QR CODES. We don’t understand how these became NON TICKET orders as they are in the EVENTS section. We had to create a single ticket for now as the variations do not work and we needed to sell tickets fast. The event is in 2 days.

Sorry for the delay.
After you duplicated an event, please go to Edit Event > ASSIGN DIFFERENT WC PRODUCT AS TICKET PRODUCT
Then make sure that the new product has been selected:
EventON is a complex product, so when we roll out new updates we do test everything, but sometimes some issues can still appear.
UPDATE: We are now selling tickets but the tickets are non ticketed events.
