Hello Larry Daniele,

Have you tried to select, for example, Feature image display style: Fit entire image, resized box height? it should solve the issue.

Sorry for the bad formatting on the previous post

Here are login credentials and FTP information for the staging site with the issue.  Please check multiple events because as mentioned in the Avada support notes, it mostly happens on older events at least for this staging site. Other sites have this issue event after creating new events.

Unfortunately I am still having issues and the patch that you suggested does not work, I have verified that I am changing the correct line.

I was working with Avada support extensively over the last two weeks to fix this issue and they said:

“We investigated this further and while the issue occurs on some of the old EventOn posts when Avada Builder (fusion builder) is active – it doesn’t happen on new EventOn posts. So it seems something is off about the old EventOn events (perhaps due to a differnet factor/module before the staging site).

It is a bit involved out what is wrong with the old eventOn events as the Save operation just time outs without any errors.

Our devs also took a look at your installation. There is nothing in the debug/error logs that could point towards the cause of this.

Our devs suggested that you ask EventsOn developers/support for more info as to why they think its related to Avada as the issue doesn’t happen on new EventOn Events at all.

To properly troubleshoot this, a check on a deeper level of what the EventOn plugin does on Post Save operation on those issue events would be needed. That is something the EventOn plugin developers would be able to check for you.”

I am having issues across 4 different sites with Avada / Eventon installation that work working for years previously.  There are two major issues that occur, when clicking to edit an event a timeout occurs and gives a “woops something went wrong please try again” timeout error.  Or even if you are able to load the event it will not save and just forwards to the posts area after saving and discards your changes.

I am getting extremely frustrated with this continued issue.

I will provide login and FTP details for a staging site I currently have setup so you can take a closer look.
