Please understand that EventON doesn’t add any classes to other elements. Our plugin only affects the HTML code it produces without affecting other plugins.

On the other hand, would it be possible to apply this setting automatically to all events in one or more categories (events are inserted by clients, hence my question)?

Your version of QR Code is still not the latest one. 2.0.2 version has the fix that should solve the not sending emails issue. Could you try?
