Hello Ashan, I have done some research and although there isn’t much of a mention I found this: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/wordpress-yoast-seo-duplicating-featured-image-in-link-share/ I use RankMath, however the issue is a (1) double reference of the image. These issues only happen when texting as far as I have seen, email link previews are ok. I am attaching the source code for one event that duplicates because it has an Event Image that is separate from the Event Details. There is no image in the Event Details.
(2) this Past event (filter for it) with no Event Image does not duplicate the image when texting. https://mount-shasta-events.com/events/heartsong-healing-full-moon-january-25-2024/
(3) I have also seen some references to OpenGraph protocol and I am wondering if there have been any change to og: Image or if there has been an EO change to this metadata.
