As for sorting. Currently eventON support sorting by event post ID, post publish date and post title. Menu order is not something taken into calculations. So please try editting the publish date for the events, which will have no impact on the time shown for the events.
We will add menu order as supporting sorting option in the future 🙂
About hide multiple occurence – I am assuming you are using this in a event list which shows more than one month. Interestingly we are not able to replicate this on our end. hmm

Give it a try and see what happen and let us know. If you switch to that version, the addons you have for eventON may throw incompatibiity issues.
Oh that is very interesting that the wp_query is making a big difference. Since I do not have access to wp-admin in your site, can you tell me if you are using other EventON addons? So it seems like gathering event data from the vast events are causing the slowness.
As far as I can remember, we havent made any drastic changes to the wp_query methods from those versions.
Is it possible to share with me wp-admin access to your sites? 2.7.3 was release in 2019 july. And since then we have added a lot and made a lot of changes to the code. So it is hard to pinpoint what exactly could be causing this slowness.
I’d be more than happy to work with you to figure out what we can do to have the same speeds in newer version 🙂

We need the possibility to store different employees and their available time. The times must also be very flexible and adapt accordingly. We need it to organize individual customer appointments. We only realized what we really need when we set up your plugin. We think the plugin is very well made and the design is great. But unfortunately not suitable for our use. But I will recommend it if I know someone who organizes real events.

If you have eventON calendar on those pages then it does need to access that data to fetch event taxonomy meta data. I would assume if you cache the database it should not take too much time to load that from cache. WordPress might already be doing some of these cache of wp_options database calls.

Ok So I am looking at your order ID 178105 and there the discount was added. So I am baffled how your other order did not get the discount. (#177814) in our 12 year in business this has never happened. (an applied coupon code not reflected at checkout)
Hello Hakan, our system apply the discount on the first year and for renewals it is processed at full price.
