To show the member their own events, yes possible. But to show member’s events on their own page to other people, without customizations, not possible.
Uploading images to organizers from the front-end isn’t possible, I am afraid, for security reasons.
Are you try to import settings or EventON > Language tab with translated strings as well?
Which old version are you trying to import settings from?

I was able to connect. The issue is that I cannot check /wp-content folder to see if there are any customized files:

There was an issue with Event’s Schema. But I fixed it by going to EventON > enabling Remove JSON-LD data for events.
