Strange, i was more than 1 hour trying to figure out the problem. I did of course clear the cache several times, but the problem remained the same. Happy that was resolved. And thank you so much for getting back on a sunday.

a few ways

each event type has an archive page auto created with all event from that event type (and each location as well gets this auto archive page)

but to have a calendar on a page

there isn’t a way to link to an event type within that calendar

you can also create calendars that only show one event type for example using the shortcode generator at

eventon>>>>settings>>>>>shortcodes

so you could create a page your self for each event type (time consuming but its only 20 pages) and create a normal link/button to that individual page

4.4.4 is the newest update which hs an update for the virtual url

so that might fix it for you as you are on 4.4.3

To update eventon to latest version: If you are unable to do autoupdate, you can go to codecanyon your account > download and get the latest eventon version as zip file. Then you can go to your website > make sure “Delete eventon settings & data when EventON is uninstalled” is Deslected from eventon settings, delete old eventon, install new one and activate. you have the event top builder where you can add things to your event top and position them

you are using a very old version of eventon from a few years ago (2019)

To update eventon addons: You can download latest eventon addons from myeventon > my account. Then you can go to your website, deactivate old addon and install new one and activate then delete the old addon. This link will further explain the process. as you are doing several updates I would remommend updating to a staging site first or at the very least creating a backup of your site first
there have been alot of changes to eventon

i have tiedied your shortcode up and looked at a few events and their colors match the event type

perhaps clear your browser cache and let us know particular events thats its not wrking on

The link you sent me is pretty outdated and EventON does not work like that anymore. You have to use the lang-attribute on the shortcodes, not a wpml_l1 or wpml_l12 attribute. That doesn’t work anymore 😉

But yes – again, please escalate to Ashan so we can get it working with Polylang again.

To be honest that just to much especially after I bought the subscriber addon.
That’s just a basic feature that i would just await it to be included in subscriber and not needing to buy extra two addons just to get that feature..

I saw that but didn’t want to touch eventon core.

Something to give some thoughts when you’re doing that is that the T’s and S’s are double so using __(“T”, ‘evenon’) will be troublesome, just my two cents, is to convert (S M T W T F S) to (Su Mo Tu We Th Fr Sa) this will enhance the ux since the user doesn’t need to think every time they do it like the case if you only see one char. and when you have that in core we can easily offset the strings without double to the .pot.

Just wanted to drop that out as i need it to think about myself on my own apps.
