This is the part of the code, which actually use the set timezone via settings to process events imported on file class-functions.php are you not seeing any changes with alternate timezone options? 

What are your intentions here? are you hoping to use timezone from ICS file or use a fixed time zone?

I made some code changes into file class-data-store.php and class-event.php which will be in nexr evneton version 4.4.4

You should be good to go now 🙂

The thing is that we don’t really know how ACF plugin works.

I went to https://www.acfb.org/wp-admin/post.php?post=614&action=edit and not even sure where to look, since I am not familiar with ACF.

Could you ask the plugin developer about this issue?

#1 so we have made code adjustments per wordpress.org XSS guidelines to make sure the event post is indeed published before event data is sent outside via ICS file.
