Could you please install the add-on but not activate it? I am going to make changes to the code to fix the issue.

Also please follow the instructions in this documentation to activate debug in your site to see any PHP errors recorded that can provide insight on to whats going on. Please reply with a link to debug.log file. If you are not able to do this please send us FTP access to your site so we can do this for you.

Also go to EventON > Advanced Settings > Select event calendar WP Query method.

Also try enabling Load More button by adding these parameters to the shortcode:

A plugin lazyloads the image and then puts 1080x1080px size to it:

It seems that Smush causing this. Could you disable it for a test?
