In order to notify users, you need to use Subscriber add-on:

It notifies subscribed users immediately when you publish a new event.

1. You need RSVP + Waitlist add-on:

2. WordPress handles the users registration process. The same with assigning a certain role to a new user. EventON doesn’t have any access to the process.

Works for me. Could you try putting the shortcode on an empty page without Tabs element or any other WPBakery content and check if the same happens?

On our colleague’s site, it gives them option to add Name, job title, and email address under delegates information
