If this helps to solve the problem please do it. But please restore the original state after test.

Hi Ashan, so no solution or answers in the meantime? We’ve experienced these issues from the start on every months ticket release. So are you confirming this to be a known bug, or just hoping that the new version will solve things? Surely if this was a known bug it would have been corrected some time ago now.

My client has already had to stop doing repeating events to stop other bugs from occurring. If you go back through my previous tickets, we are generally told to upgrade or wait for the next version to ‘fix’ things.

So far the only thing that has really helped stem the issues has been to stop doing repeating events. I’m sure you can imagine my clients frustrations, which of course then fall on me.

I contacted web hosting and received the following response.

In the .htaccess file on the same root as the www directory of the merdive account, the following settings have been added so that detailed error messages are stored in /merdive/php_error.log when a php error occurs.

# .htaccess

php_value error_reporting 6135
php_flag display_errors on
php_flag log_errors on
php_value error_log /merdive/php_error.log

Afterwards, when accessing http://merdive.cafe24.com/mer-calendar, it is confirmed that the following error details are saved in the php_error.log log.

PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 536870912 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 377491456 bytes) in /merdive/www/wp-content/plugins/eventON/includes/class-evo-ajax.php on line 110

It is assumed that the error is caused by exceeding the default allocated memory capacity in the variable or function of the eventON plug-in, and it is confirmed that the admin-ajax.php error occurs due to the error.

The default allocated memory_limit value in web hosting is 128M, and you can check it using phpinfo().

In the case of memory_limit value, you can increase it by additionally setting the php_value value in the .htaccess file as follows.

php_value memory_limit 512M

However, in the case of http://merdive.cafe24.com/mer-calendar, the memory_limit value must be set to at least 3072M (3G) so that the error does not occur.

However, web hosting can set the memory_limit value up to about 2048M (2G), but it is not recommended to set the memory_limit value to about 3G for the use of certain plug-ins.

The web hosting you use is a common server, and since multiple users share server resources to provide services, if a specific plugin occupies memory excessively, it causes a load or memory shortage on the entire server as well as the customer’s website, causing problems. because it can be

Therefore, please check and correct the code that uses excessive memory in the eventON plug-in, or consider using another plug-in.

In the current .htaccess file, the code that saves logs in /merdive/php_error.log when a php error occurs is commented out and modified so that it does not work.

Please note that if the logs continue to accumulate, the log file size may increase and the web hard usage of the merdive account may be insufficient.

Thank you for your great suggestion, at the moment it is not supported. However please create a new ticket and select Feature Request as category so others can vote on your idea and get it moved into development faster.

Processing suggests the order has not gone through- I’ll assign Ashan to this as top priority as he has access to that part of the site

I am having a new issue when I created a 3rd category named “Event Tag”

Under Event Tag, I created one item named “bats” with ID “499” (it is associated with 2 events). When I use the following code:

[add_eventon show_et_ft_img=’yes’ event_count=”5″ event_past_future=”future” event_type_3=“499” exp_so=”yes” show_limit=”yes” ux_val=”3″ show_limit_ajax=”yes”]

On this page: https://readingpubliclibrary.org/bats/

It still shows all events, not just the 2 with the bats ID.

What am I doing wrong?

Also, I upgraded my event ticket license to use on multiple sites but it won’t accept my licence key, it says I have used the maximum which is incorrect. I also notice my order shows as “Processing”. Can you please activate my event ticket licence
