I am still looking at the CSV Import plugin.

I have three Custom Meat Data fields.

When I create an event, these meat fields are buttons, with URL links.

As far as I can see the importer will import the text for these (e.g. “Click here”), but nothing else – not the link, not the option whether to open in a new window or not. If this is the case, why do you bother importing the texts for cmd_1, cmd_2 etc.?

Also, for each event, I have added tags.

It also looks like  importer does not import these.

Am I correct?

Finally, the documentation mentions getting someone to modify the functions.php file. This is impractical for most people. Are we able to add Custom CSS within WordPress to perform some of this missing functionality?

Thank you for your great suggestion, at the moment it is not supported. However please create a new ticket and select Feature Request as category so others can vote on your idea and get it moved into development faster.

at the moment unfortunatly you’ll have to edit the event and view attendees and cross reference that with the csv 

I have sent a pm to Ashan about this with a video of what might be a better alternative to the current way its done

The script I provided above nearly accomplishes this, but you can see in the screen recording that there is an error with the pricing when the quantity is changed.

 

My script changed the default displayed price to 30,000 but if quantity was changed to two tickets the total price went from 30,000 to 20,000 instead of 60,000

I want to choose what price is auto filled when they land on the choose your price page.

Currently, the auto filled price is the MINIMUM allowed price. I want to encourage people to choose a higher price.

Example.

I want the minimum allowed price to be 10,000KRW.

But I want the price selected to be 30,000KRW when the page first loads.

If people want to pay less, they can change the 30,000 to 10,000. But if they are happy to pay 30,000 they just add it to cart.

I have pricing suggestions on that page, stating the minimum is 10,000 but the recommended is 30,000 as that covers the performance cost.
