Your custom version of Single Event Page template should be updated according to the new version:

New template can be found by going to Plugin Editor > EventON > /templates/single-ajde_events.php.

Please go to EventON > Sorting and Filtering > enable Past & Future Event Filtering.

Now add event_past_future=”future” to your shortcode.

As a temporary solution please downgrade to 4.2.2 if you want.
