I was forced to restore from the backup to Version 4.2.2 which solved the problem for now.
I will still be waiting for fixed version 4.3

SOLUTION:
Preferences – enable “custom fields”
Click restart reload
You can now Drag “Event details” to main area above Custom Fields
Disable “Custom fields”
Click restart reload
Everything is back to normal

No issues on our test site:
It is 100% upgrade related to 4.3 as this was only plugin I updated on my site. Different theme, different plugins set but common issue as many other reported exactly the same unexpected behaviour.
