I’d rather not show repeating events or past events in that list but do show them on the full calendar above it.

Thank you for your great suggestion, at the moment it is not supported. However please create a new ticket and select Feature Request as category so others can vote on your idea and get it moved into development faster.

Any available settings you find in Shortcode Generator, works for the whole calendar.

wondering if there’s a way to show all the events happening on the date and not just two with a +more.

FullCal doesn’t have such functionality, I am afraid.

I made a code change in your site for this, please check to see if it resolved the issue now.
