Hi Jean-Luc,

Please revert to PHP 8.0 or 8.1 and as a temporary solution go to to EventON > EventTop > EventTop Main Day block fields  and enable Event Day Name.

We are working on fixing this.

also, here is the request data, that is working, except those the fields wich I described above.

p.s. yes, I know that there is commented out line, that IS NOT THE ISSUE!

That’s not the case as it is just a mistake in the video.
So far this support demonstrates a total lack of willingness to understand the problem. Forget about the first issue in video, I’ve moved away from that.

Regarding my last message, I understood how to edit these meta fields, by making adjustments in the functions.php file by creating an action that registers meta.

So, here is the next problem I am facing:

Every meta field, that starts with _, for example

  • _featured
  • _ev_status
  • _virtual,
  • all the other that starts with “_”…

…is not editable.

When registered with meta, these fields do show up, but could not be edited (all the related requests with them are returning 403, but DO edit the rest of meta fields, which are outside the mentioned group(i.e. not starting with “_”).

See the attached screenshot.
Why is that? What type are they or what should I add there, to make them editable with HTTP requests?

just seeing this now.

is this the only potential solution? not sure why this would be the issue — since we never edited the php. the only difference was switching from the free plugin to the paid one.

also — won’t this be overwritten if we install updates to the plugin?

please let me know before we attempt this. thanks.

Hi – could I get some next steps on this ticket?  Apologies for continuing to check in, but it’s been a week since I opened this and I haven’t gotten anything to check or try yet.  I am hoping that I didn’t waste money in buying this plugin and it won’t work for us, any help you could provide would be truly appreciated.  Thank you!

Ahhh…. that’s so anying! Our server seems to be very unstable. It sometimes takes refreshing the page two or three times. Could you try again?
