Or go to EventON > EventTop > EventTop Main Day block fields > enable Event Day Name or any other you like.

I’m not comfortable with the patch – getting a plugin editor, etc. so clearly this “fix” won’t do anything since it is already set that way and we are not able to make any changes to the widget – even to remove the eventon shortcode! I also have a message into our theme developer as I’m not really sure where the problem lies. In the meantime, our site is essentially down and not functional at all!!

From the screenshot I can see that you didn’t put */ closing the comment line. Could you fix it?

Also try EventON > Scripts & Styling > turn off Write styles to header > save settings > turn on Write styles to header.
