I have commented out all custom code in functions.php and even checked within all functions by commenting them as well, but the issue still persists and gives the same result.

Please follow the instructions in this documentation to activate debug in your site to see any PHP errors recorded that can provide insight on to whats going on. Please reply with a link to debug.log file. If you are not able to do this please send us FTP access to your site so we can do this for you.

Switching the theme fixes the issue. I also checked functions.php and you have some customer code there:

Could you try commenting each custom line one by one to figure out which one causes this?

It’s not the advanced settings because the staging is using  ‘Default WordPress Filter’
